Activating Demat Debit and Pledge Instruction (DDPI) on Nubra is a quick, seamless, and fully online process for individual users. You can enable DDPI in just a few simple steps for a hassle-free trading experience.

Non-Individual account holders—including HUFs, Corporates, LLPs, Partnership Firms, Trusts, and NRIs/Foreign Nationals—must activate DDPI through an offline process by submitting a physically signed DDPI form.

DDPI Activation Process:

DDPI activation is available after your Nubra trading and Demat account has been created, approved, and authorized to trade by regulatory authorities (NSE, BSE, MCX, and CDSL).

Follow these steps to activate DDPI:

Step 1. Log in to your Nubra account via the web platform or mobile application.

Step 2. Navigate to the Profile Section.

Step 3. Locate the DDPI Activation option and click to proceed.

Step 4. A pop-up will appear, redirecting you to a new webpage.

Step 5. Click on "Pay and Activate" to initiate DDPI activation for a nominal fee of ₹100 + GST.

  • Note: If you have a sufficient balance in your ledger, the system will automatically skip Step 4 & Step 5 and proceed to the next.

Step 6. Review the DDPI activation document, read the terms and conditions, and accept them.

Step 7. Complete the eSign process using Aadhaar authentication.
