How Are Stocks Categorized Under ASM?

Modified on Mon, 26 May, 2025 at 12:02 PM

Stocks are placed in the ASM category according to exchange-defined criteria. There are two ASM classifications:

  1. Long-Term ASM – For stocks showing persistent volatility across extended periods
  2. Short-Term ASM – For stocks experiencing sudden price movements in recent trading

The official list of ASM stocks is updated regularly and is available on the NSE website.
