Stocks are placed in the ASM category according to exchange-defined criteria. There are two ASM classifications:
- Long-Term ASM – For stocks showing persistent volatility across extended periods
- Short-Term ASM – For stocks experiencing sudden price movements in recent trading
The official list of ASM stocks is updated regularly and is available on the NSE website.
