Why is the withdrawable balance negative?

Modified on Mon, 26 May, 2025 at 11:02 AM

The withdrawable balance will be negative in the following scenarios:

  • If the Nubra account has a debit balance.
  • If funds haven't settled to your Nubra account yet. Indian exchanges use a T+1 rolling settlement cycle, meaning they need one business day to settle funds from equity sales and F&O trades before withdrawal. During this settlement period, the withdrawal amount appears negative. Once settlement is complete, the withdrawable balance becomes positive.
